I have been a proud owner of two Rogue Rods for a few years now and I own a plethora of the finest brand names,however,My Rouge 7'10 and Long swimbait Rod are my American traditions of what makes my collection the finest and my catch ratio successful! Byron Velvick recently won the B.A.S.S.Elite series Shoot-Out on Clear Lake and he gave all his credit to his lure.Byron also said that other swimbait throwers retrieved their lures too swiftly.I had to make him come clean and not take away from others proficiency as I wrote about Byron's "Long Little Secret"...The win is attributed to his usage of the Rogue Rods which made all the difference between winning and placing.The times have changed and so do sponsorships and anglers plans of attack,however,Nobody can change quality products backed by Quality People! I had to shout out loud to the B.A.S.S. community and everyone I see about how these long Bass rods make for longer more accurate cast,better lure action,sensitivity through quality components and quality cork which is hard to find anywhere both in the industry and the world.I also love the sweeping hooksets and fast penetration,however,Byron was doing nothing more and nothing less than flicking his wrist when slow rolling his swimbait ...allowing for the ROGUE Rod to Load Up and Give a powerful Hookset with little to no effort on his part because of the strong blank quality,many close to the blank eyelets or line guides and most of all...Byron has been touting and spouting about a different rod of new,however,in order to win at the Big Bass game had to bring on board the Big Bass Rods of Choice...and My Rods of Choice...The all day fishability is an attribute serious anglers can't live without and Byron proved it...so since B.A.S.S. and The ESPN coverage failed to say which rods Byron was using...I am Proud to say and at liberty to state"BYRON VELVICK's Elite Win is Attributed to the Swimbait Bass Rods constructed by Quality People known as the ROGUE RODS company...Not only do you feel the bite...you catch fish with the best performing rod in the industry...and that comes from a Tackleholic who owns a plethora of 50 rods+...Find the most waters,fish them and enjoy what we take home on the inside when feeling like a real American Sportsman" fishing with Real "American Tradition"...Thanks to Rogue Rods for bringing one of the most entertaining fishing clinics to the Elite series...
