Rogue Rods is the fastest growing 100% manufactured in the U.S.A rod company today. We have the ultimate company goal: “Catch Fish”

We at Rogue Rods feel we offer the "Best Product" available. Rogue rods are not defined as the most expensive, but as the rod that delivers the best fishing fix to the user because it was designed for catching fish and giving all possible advantages to the fisherman. Sensitivity and power in a rod is determined by rod weight, action and balance not just material type. The 5/D (5 dimensions) in blank design must be calculated perfectly to create the right rod for the job 1) Length 2) Diameter 3) Taper 4) Wall Thickness 5) Material, must all come together just right. Pick up one of our rods and you will see that we are experts in calculating the 5/D’s to make the perfect rod. Fish our rods and you will “Feel the Bite”. Rogue Rods features a wide selection of styles and specie specific rods for all your angling adventures.

Scott Sweet, Rogue Rods Sales Rep. and Pro Staff - Wins Big

at the Stren Series Western Division event on Clear Lake.

Rogue Rods allowed me to "Feel the Bite" when only the slightest of a tick resulted from the fish picking up the wacky rigged Senko.  I was very consistent with limits of 3+lbers on day 2 and 3.  The MB 764 didn't let me down on the small 6" swimbait to land the sweet 9 lb on day 1.  I had only 1 swimbait rod with me and had the larger swimbait tied on it.  But it was the smaller swimbait the fish swallowed!

KELSEYVILLE, Calif. – Like a NASCAR driver drafting the leader, Scott Sweet hung close to the top of the pack for three days and then made his move when it counted the most to win the Co-angler Division of the Stren Series Western Division event on Clear Lake.

Sweet finished third on day one, moved up to second on day two and held on to the No. 2 spot on day three to make the top-10 cut. In the final round, the Chatsworth, Calif., native caught a limit weighing 9 pounds, 14 ounces for a winning total of 62-7.

Wacky rigging a green-pumpkin Senko with an O-ring was Sweet’s preferred tactic through the first three qualifying days. He imparted very little action on the bait – just a cast and then the waiting game.

Drop shotting over offshore rocks in the south end of Clear Lake produced the winning weight for Scott Sweet. “It was total dead-sticking. Every so often, I’d bump the bait up and it would float back down. I’d feel the tick, set the hook – another 3-pounder.”

On the fourth day, he fished only a drop-shot because the 10- to 15-foot depths he and pro winner Philip Garcia fished were not conducive to the slow-sinking rig. However, with lethargic fish biting very lightly, the same minimal-motion presentation again proved effective.

“There were two times that I had a fish on after picking a bird’s nest out of my spool,” Sweet said. “I was pulling the line out, reeled it back in and there was a fish there.”

For his efforts, Sweet won $5,000 and a Ranger boat.

Gluszek Used Tidal History and Rogue Rods To Lap The Field

Rick,

I wanted to keep you posted on some recent success I've had and how Rogue Rods helped me get there. I won the Hudson River Stren Tournament last week. Two rods that were the most important to me were the MB series 7' X-heavy bait casting rod. I used this rod to punch matts with a one ounce jig. The second rod is the 7' heavy action crank bait rod that you recently sent me. I love this rod and used it to crank my way to success on the last day of the Hudson River. Below is the article on Bassfan.com that mentions Rogue Rods and Hudson River Tournament. http://www.bassfanarmy.com/bfa_news_article.asp?id=334

FLW Outdoors Magazine will have full coverage of the Hudson in upcoming issues that will include equipment that I used to win.

Thanks to you and Rogue Rods for all your help!

Pete

Caught on Junior-D Crank Bait on Rogue Rods new MB 702CBB Crank Bait Rod

Chris Says: "I usually use an MB-703, but I find that with the new crank bait rod with the softer blank, I am losing a lot less fish."

The Rod you sent for the big lures is great. I will clear my bill on the S&H on Friday. here are a couple of the 32 pounds of fish I caught last Friday at lake casitas. One ten and one eight pound bass.

New Jersey pro Pete Gluszek had a tough time on the spring-oriented FLW Tour this year – he finished 127th in the Angler of the Year (AOY) race. But he always fishes well in the summer and fall, and he continued that trend with a victory at the weather-shortened Champlain Northeastern Stren.

"In the spring, I get a check about 20 to 30% of the time," he said. "It's an Achilles' heel for me and my springtime patterning is still a work in progress.

"In the summer and fall though, I'm about 90% in the money."

He caught 33-00 over the final 2 days to win by 1-06 over New York's Aaron Wessels. It was his first Stren victory and his biggest triumph since the 1999 Alabama Bassmaster Invitational.

Here's how he did it.

My husband and fished the All-star Couples Championship two day tournament this past weekend - we were fishing for 2007 Stratos 285 with a 150HP Yamaha motor. We won it - and we won it with your Rogue Rods, I was using the drop shot rod 6.6 and my husband was using the 6.9 drop shot and the 7.04 with a Carolina rig. I just wanted to let you know how much we love your rods. Your slogan of "Feel the Bite" is so true. In the next few days I will be sending you a picture of them presenting us with the certificate of the boat, maybe you would like to place it on your gallery. We own several of your rods and we tell people about them and recommend them to everyone we meet.

Thank you,
Andy & Nancy Shelton
